Biography 
Anastasios Panos, "Toss" as known by most, was born in Athens, Greece in February 14th 1964. His family came to San Diego Ca. in 1966, to pursue a better life. Toss started playing drums at age 7. Occasionally his uncle would accompany him on guitar, to Eric Burdon and the Animal's songs. Since Greek music was always heard in the house, naturally his first gig was at a greek nightclub at age 10 playing Greek folk music. This would become an influence for the rest of his life. Toss played in funk, rock, country, and progressive rock gigs around San Diego County. At age 19 he studied formally at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Upon graduation he was offered a part time teaching gig that has spanned from1987 to present time. During this time, he started doing jingles, movies, and session work. He has played and or recorded with Toy Matinee with Kevin Gilbert and Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Brandon Fields, Jude Cole, Dweezil Zappa, Mike Keneally, John Goodsall, Steve Vai, Paul Rodgers, Mark Hart, Peter Himmelman, Andy Summers, Sting, Mike Landau trio, Robben Ford band, Cliff Richard, Vonda Sheppard, Boozo Chavis, Hazy Jane, Mel Torme, Stephen Stills, and Eric Burdon among others. TV House drummer duties have included late night talk show host Dennis Miller, and also the Roseanne show. Appearances on film include: The Karen Carpenter story, Angel 4 undercover, and Walt Disney's Country Bears. He has also opened a home studio called Tossomos.
